NH Business and Industry Association poll finds optimism
DURHAM, N.H. – The people of New Hampshire are mainly optimistic about their economy and that of the nation’s, as well as their own financial well-being. That was the consensus in a recent New Hampshire Business and Industry Association Report on Consumer Confidence.
Fifty-five percent of New Hampshire residents polled thought the state’s businesses would do well financially over the next year, according to the report conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center in Durham.
Another 26 percent said they anticipated mixed conditions.
The NH Business and Industry Association Report on Consumer Confidence polled 509 randomly selected state residents during the beginning of February.
The margin of sampling error for the poll was plus or minus 4.3 percentage points.
